SNOMED CODES TO BE IN USE BY 2014 IN THE U.S. ...
After expanding to ICD 10 codes in 2013, it was decided that the SNOMED Codes (Invented by to US Pathologists) should be put into use by 2014. These codes are more detailed that the newer ICD 10 codes, which were much more defined than the ICD 9 Codes used today. It may take physicians a little while to get used to the detailed explanations in these codes, but after they see how beneficial they are they will welcome them with open arms. It will make their billing more exacting and thereby minimize the bounce backs on their insurance claims. Mistakes hopefully will soon be a thing of the past.... More details up coming......

ICD 10 CODES MANDATED TO BE PUT INTO USE BY 2013

July 15, it was announced that by the year 2013 the ICD 10 Codes will replace the ICD9's.. These new codes will closely resemble the SNOMED codes that are being used in Europe and were developed here in the states by two Pathologists. These codes are available now and it was suggested by Medicare that doctors start to practice using them because they are much more detailed than the ICD 9 codes...
All of our Medi-Chips have both the ICD 9 and ICD 10 codes built into them already so you can say we are 5 years ahead of the curve...Late Breaking News Now the government is saying that by 2014 all Physicians and Hospitals must begin to use the SNOMED codes that were developed by 2 US Pathologists and are in use in Europe today.. But you can rest easy because we are on top of things and have the New SNOMED codes. We will make them available to physicians upon request...

FOR PHYSICIANS CURRENTLY USING EMR's

Physicians would get bonuses of between $44,000 and $64,000 -- and hospitals would get as much as $11 million -- if they show they have computerized their medical-records/systems. On the stick side of the equation, the measure includes Medicare payment penalties for physicians and hospitals that are not using electronic health records by 2014''

WE ALREADY HAVE THE SNOMED CODES AND ARE A LICENSEE OF SNOMED,
ONCE AGAIN SHOWING THAT WE ARE AHEAD OF THE CURVE
WHERE PATIENTS AND EMR's AND YOU ARE CONCERNED....

Medicare announced towards the end of 2008 that they were going to pay doctors a "bonus" of 7% of their medicare bill if they used E-PRESCRIPTIONS for their patients, and deduct 2% from their receivables for every patient that they didn't use an E-PRESCRIPTION for.
More and more doctors, nurses, clinicians, and hospitals are noticing that the patients are now beginning to take control of their medical records. Whether they are coming in with EMR's, or asking for their records so that they have copies of everything or by just being more concerned, they are showing that the days of having their "medical life" exposed to all are over.
We are pioneering the way into expanding the role of the EMR by creating an extra storage on every EMR which will have the ability to store ENCRYPTED DATA WHICH ONLY THE PATIENT HAS ACCESS TO. Information such as bank accounts, passport numbers, drivers licenses, insurance policies, stocks and bonds and much, much more. This way in case of a natural disaster or emergency, the individual will have all their important papers and documents with them at all times and safe in the knowledge that they are encrypted with the highest level of encryption, one that our own government uses. 256/512 AES Encryption.
Physicians can also make use of this "Vault" because they can store vital information as well on their own master EMR (master EMR will hold appointments, patient data and account numbers).
